…and we’re back! Sheamus is in the ring, holding a microphone and a pipe. Sheamus talks about Shawn’s career, and how it took Shawn 8 years to win his WWE Championship and him only 6 months. Sheamus is still bitter, you can tell. He talks about how his career top-off was ruined by HHH, and here’s his reasoning for his actions last week! He did it for vengeance. Sheamus says that Shawn left so he wouldn’t have to face him. Sheamus says that Wrestlemania 26 was the last good match for both Shawn & HHH. Sheamus: ‘I believe you don’t have one good match left in you.’ ‘Your a smart man; you make the decision or I’ll make it for you.’ An the Game has made his decision. HHH’s music plays, and Sheamus is ready for him. Sheamus stands tall with a slight grin over his face, but Sheamus is giving HHH fair warning. Both men stare each other down and HHH steps down — welcome the sledge hammer back! HHH steps in and starts to beat Sheamus with his sledge hammer until Sheamus leaves the ring, but the game isn’t through yet. He goes back out for Sheamus, who is smart enough to run. Sheamus jumps over the barricades and he’s out of there. Triple H’s final words: “Isn’t that like a silly Irishman to bring a pipe to a sledgehammer fight?”

The match opens up with Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, the crowd goes crazy. Following the entrance and lecturing of Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes’ entrance is none other than Sheamus! As Sheamus makes his way to the ring, Rhodes’ and DiBiase stare him down, as he does them. Just as Sheamus enters the ring, there is a commercial break, OF COURSE.
And we’re back! The show re-opens with the entrance of The Game, Triple H. In the ring stands the team of Rhodes, DiBiase, and Sheamus. Next up is Randy Orton, who walks down to the ring, taking his eyes off his former friends for only a few moments. Up the stairs Orton goes and now it’s just about time for kick off… the 3 on 2 handicap we’ve waited a week to see, Sheamus, Ted DiBiase, and Cody Rhodes vs. Triple H and Randy Orton.
Starting off the match would be Sheamus and Triple H, Wrestlemania opponents. No… wait, it would be Rhodes vs. HHH to start off. A punch by HHH puts Rhodes on the floor, then HHH moves Rhodes into the corner. After a small beat down, Rhodes tags in DiBiase. DiBiase starts dominating the match, throwing punches and kicks. NO! The Game manages to make a come back and hits Sheamus, knocking him off the apron! Oh, Sheamus gets back up and in he goes with a tag by DiBiase! “Ah, ah, ah!” Many kicks to HHH, lots of punches and a punch by HHH. Sheamus knocks HHH down and taunts. He picks HHH up and brings him into the corner, tagging in DiBiase, who starts kicking HHH in their corner. DiBiase tags in Rhodes, who also kicks HHH various times, then DiBiase is tagged back in. When the referee isn’t looking, Sheamus hits HHH on the outside. Sheamus looks in at HHH, and you’ve got to wonder, what is Sheamus thinking? In only 5 days, he’ll be facing HHH in his Wrestlemania debut. Sheamus gets tagged in and so does Orton. Orton gets the upper hand and Orton is furious! Orton is dominating, knocking everything and everyone in his path down. A back breaker to Sheamus knocks him down. The Viper watches Sheamus closely, and thanks to a distraction by Rhodes, Sheamus was able to give Orton a bicycle kick and pick up a victory!
After the match, Rhodes and DiBiase throw HHH back into the ring so Sheamus can give HHH a bicycle kick, just as he did The Viper, but the plan backfires. HHH throws Sheamus out of the ring, and Sheamus doesn’t attempt to get back in. There’s a lot of trash talking between Sheamus and Triple H, but at Wrestlemania, we’ll find out who can do the talking.
WARNING: After reading this, you will officially be in love with Sheamus. He is such a sweetheart!
On a side note, Sheamus walked over to where I was sitting at ringside and took a little kid’s homemade “John Cena #1″ sign and ripped it in half right in front of him. The kid, maybe 6-years-old, started bawling. I watched Sheamus as he quietly grabbed a security guard and whispered to her to grab him (Sheamus), pull him over to the kid, and have the kid do the “you can’t see me” motion to him while she scolded Sheamus. Sheamus also had her tell John Cena to give the kid one of the armbands John was wearing. Very classy act from a guy who is supposed to be a major heel. Being a relatively new father himself, it shows a lot of character from a guy who didn’t have to do that, especially since he’s a heel. I think he’ll make a great face whenever it’s his time to turn.
You can NOT tell me that that isn’t the sweetest thing EVER, especially since he is a heel! Like the witness said, he’llmake an AMAZING face.

John Cena & Mark Henry beat Sheamus & Unified tag champion Big Show with a little help from Hornswoggle.

Sheamus’ music plays and the crowd gives mixed signals. Sheamus makes his way to the ring, ready for his match against Evan Bourne. When Sheamus gets into the ring, he shakes himself up a bit and takes of his necklace. Before the match starts, Sheamus has an announcement, no wait! He attacks Evan Bourne with a hit to the head! Punches, punches, Sheamus lands a celtic cross and grabs a microphone. “As I was saying.” Sheamus tells the story of how he was always a fan of WWE and how he admired one man who was so vicious, who would even turn his back on his friend. This man, his Wrestlemania opponent, Triple H. Sheamus begins to tell the WWE who he’s dominated and talks about how he has become the WWE Champion and dominated the WWE. “I was supposed to defend my championship at Wrestlemania, but you ruined that.” “Thank you.” Wait, what?! Quoting Triple H, Sheamus says that it will be a turning point in Triple H’s career! The Celtic Warrior bows to no King, and on the grandest stage of them all, Sheamus says he will take the Game’s thrown! Sheamus leaves the ring and his music plays. Will Sheamus dethrone the King? Will the King reduce Sheamus to a footnote in WWE history? We’ll find out in exactly 13 nights.
LATER THAT NIGHT…
During Triple H’s match, Sheamus comes out and kicks Triple H right in the head. Outside the ring, DiBiase and Rhodes continue theirbeat down on Orton, while in the ring, Sheamus continues to taunt the fallen Triple H. The Celtic Warrior places his foot on Triple H’s chest — his signature taunt. Sheamus’ music plays and Sheamus has so far kept word to what he said, he bows to NO king.

John Cena, Triple H & Shawn Michaels defeated Batista, Sheamus & Jack Swagger
Triple H comes out, the fans go crazy. There are mixed signals from the crowd. Triple H makes his way to the ring, Triple H has something to say. He gets in the ring and takes a microphone. The unexpected is said! He respects what Sheamus did last week on Raw! He says how he understands why Sheamus did it, and he respects it. But wait, here comes Sheamus! Sheamus comes out and really has something to say. He grabs HHH’s microphone and tells him that he’s here to make a statement. He then challenges HHH to a match at Wrestlemania. HHH tells Sheamus he has had possibly the greatest first year in the business, but until he has danced the dance, he hasn’t been anywhere yet. HHH talks about how when he first came into the business, he was exactly where Sheamus was. He was rocketing to the top and when he went to Mania, he was knocked down. He hid, and went into obscurity. HHH tells Sheamus that taking him to Wrestlemania is a big gamble, and that before he does it, he’d better be sure. Before Sheamus has time to answer, HHH starts throwing punches. Sheamus fights back, but gets knocked back down. NO, wait! Sheamus is back up! Punching and kicking, getting ready to go for the blow to the head, Sheamus set himself up for diaster. When he goes for the kick, HHH moves and Sheamus has thrown himself into the barricade. No, it didn’t end there! Both men continue to go back and forth, neither are giving up! Sheamus finally throws HHH into the ring, punching him. Triple H won’t have any of that! He hits Sheamus, and Sheamus leaves the ring. Walking out with his hand behind his back, defeated. Both opponents stare each other down.
It isn’t over. It isn’t over by a long shot. Will Sheamus take the gamble and face HHH at the grandest stage of them all? Is Sheamus ready to risk it all? Is HHH prepared for one hell of a fight? …I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
The following match and results are from the house show that took place on March 6, 2010.
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena def. Batista, Randy Orton, and Sheamus.
DX came out first to a huge pop and did there basic promo. Hunter said he knows that he said on Monday that DX wasn’t going to wrestle anymore, but Shawn forgot to look on his calendar and see that they had Salt Lake booked. Funny stuff.
Cena out next to a crazy pop (except for me who booed him the whole match.) Sheamus out next to some nice heat. Randy came out to a mixed reaction and Batista got the heat of the night. It was a fun match that all three faces had the crowd into it the whole time. Good back and forth work from everyone. The ending saw all three heels take the three face finishers with Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Batista for the win.
After raw went of air:
When RAW went off the air Sheamus came back and threw HHH into the ring. Batista’s music hits and he said you don’t just beat down a guy like HHH, you take them out, let me show you. He runs to the ring and just before they start beating on HHH, Cena’s music hits and he runs to the ring. The Sheamus and Batista clear the ring and Cena gets on the mic and says something to the effect of “let’s have a tag team match right now” They all get up and a tag match begins. Went back and forth for a little bit in a real good match and eventually Cena hits the ring and tears up Sheamus does the five knuckle shuffle on Shaemus and then looks at Batista begging him to come in the ring. Dave then decides to walk out of the arena, looks like we wont get to see them go at it until mania. Cena turns back around and gives the AA to Sheamus then looks to HHH who wants in. HHH is tagged in and gives Sheamus the suck it before pedigreeing him and getting the pinfall victory. HHH and Cena then spend about 10 minutes walking around the ring high fiving all the fans. Good times were had by all.
