Sheamus vs.: Kofi Kingston
On the Line: Nothing
Outcome: Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall after planting Kingston with the Celtic Cross. After the match, Sheamus went under the ring and took out the pipe he attacked HHH with last week on RAW and nailed Kingston in the back of his head. Sheamus said Michaels left before he had the chance to face him and otld HHH it was wise, he should do it to. HHH came out and acted like he was going to back down, but instead grabbed a sledge hammer and hit Sheamus in the stomach. Sheamus jumped over the baracades and ran into the back.

Thanks to David, I was able to add 054 digitals from Sheamus’ match in Dublin, Ireland. Honestly, he couldn’t have looked more happy! And for those who didn’t know, Cena was being a total sweetheart. After Sheamus lost the match, Cena stated that this was the first time the crowd was behind him (Sheamus) and not Cena, and that tonight was his night, he then gave Sheamus the title. Sheamus said how great it was to be Irish and he just looked so happy! So again, thanks to David for the images. And thanks to Ang @MKO, I was able to add 006 shots of Sheamus at a fan signing at Smyth’s Toy Store at The Square in Tallaght Dublin, Ireland. Be sure you check out the pictures from both events, they’re all amazing!

Bret Hart Respects Sheamus

In a recent blog from his OFFICIAL Facebook profile, Bret blogged about his memories from the European Tour. He then gave shout outs to the new & old superstars he has respect for, here’s the excerpt:

Dublin, so many fans came out for AWR only a short time back for a tour all over Ireland. What a great trip with stars like Tatanka and Scotty 2 Hotty, but working Dublin for WWE will have to stand out as one of my best cities anywhere. Sheffield should be interesting as well with my old boxing buddy, Big Joe Egan, coming to see me. It’ll be great to throw down the suds and talk about what the hell I’m even doing there. Manchester is another great town for me going all the way back to the old Max Crabtree days with Joint Productions. Looking forward to talking to some of the terrific UK workers like Shemus, Drew MacIntyre, Finley, William Regal, even Katie Lee Burchill, all old and new friends I’ve come to have respect for.

JR Blogs About Sheamus

In one of JR’s recent blogs, he says that Sheamus is one of the few superstars who is getting too much too soon. Check it out;

Others want to know if I think it is wrong that some young talents, IE Jack Swagger, Sheamus, etc are getting too much too soon. There is no magical formula or magic wand one can wave over the head of a young wrestler to guarantee their success. I do know this, the business has to get younger and WWE, at least, is attempting to do that which means they are keeping an eye on their long term growth. No one knows what young talent will or will not make it but if they aren’t given the opportunity it’s obvious that they will never get to the Promised Land. I applaud wrestling promotions for providing opportunity for young wrestlers as no one can accurately and definitively way when some one is ‘ready.’ My theory is to get them fundamentally sound, motivated, and throw them in the game and see if they can play.
